why are western ghats continous

hey..there..

The mountains are higher in western ghats, so they block the path of the rivers and don't allow them to flow in single direction rather they spread the flow of water forming estuaries

Western ghats are continous because:

Western Ghats runs parallel to the western coast in a north-south direction from the Tapi River to Kanayakumari.

Western Ghat’s average width is 50 to 80 km.
