why are white blood cell are called "soldiers"of the body ..?? plzz ans..

White blood cells are called soliders of the body because they fight against the germs which enter the human body.

Because the WBC are the cells which fight against all the bacteria and the disease causing microbes from causing diseases. The remain very active and guards our body all the time. Its like the soldiers of our body so the name falls.
