Why are whole number closed under addition?expalin with example.

Answer:

The set of whole numbers of whole numbers is closed under addition and multiplication because when I add or multiply any whole numbers, the result is always a whole number. The set of whole numbers is not closed under subtraction because 4 - 5 = -1, and -1 is not a whole number
