why at 100°c water vapour has more burning effect then boilon water at 100°c?

as u know if we heat something its temperature gets raised and thus increases kinetic energy of particles of substance that's getting heat.

as u know intermolecular space less in gases than liquid so more kinetic energy gases particles have and they move very fastly so it causes more burns at same rptemoerature
