Why Bangalore is called the Sillicon Valley. Explain

Though the name silicon valley originated due to lot of silicon chip innovatorsbeing situated in San Francisco. But later on the region was full of top high technologists and the name silicon valley started pointing to that.

So like San Francisco is to USA, Bangalore is to India, that's why it is called SILICON VALLEY OF INDIA.  It was named so because Bangalore is on the Mysore Plateau, the area is also sometimes referred to as "Silicon Plateau".
