Biologically controlling weeds is better than using pesticides because ,by controlling weeds biologically ,there is no harm for the crops or surroundings but there is benifit that crops would get sufficient nutrients as it wont b absorbd up by undesired plants ,weeds.
But ,if pesticides are used to destroy these aunwanted plants ,weeds or other insects ,it is harm for the crops which will adversely effect our health if crop is edible ,it exhausts soil fertility thus causing soil pollution.lt can also cause water pollution indirectly
Thus biologically controlling weeds is better than using pesticides.

Great question.

Biological control means introducing weed eating animals into the fields. This is helpful because:
I)It produces no harmful or inorganic waste.
II) The droppings of animals can be used as fertilisers.

On the other hand, pesticides are inorganic substances and pollute the soil. They are also poisonous.

PS: They don't use pesticides to kill weeds, they use weedicides.
