Double circulation is the process in which blood flows to heart twice in each cardiac cycle.

Double circulation in humans:

Pulmonary circulation:When blood from right ventricle moves to the body and is further carried by vena cava for oxygenation to lungs. This oxygenated blood is then transferred to left atrium.

Systematic circulation:When blood is transferred from left atrium to left ventricle and is further carried by aorta to all cells.
