WHY BLOOD DOESN 'T CLOT INSIDE the body?

Heya,

Blood doesn't clot inside the body due to the prescence of a substance called heparin secreted by basophils and mast cells.

However, clotting of blood inside the body is very harmful as it may lead to various health disorders like thrombosis,etc. It also results in swelling, redishness and pain.
