if we take whole blood from body the person will die due to excess loss of blood

Blood products are used for a blood transfusion and not whole blood because:
● Each patient requires separate blood components based on the condition of trauma or disease.
● It will be better to provide that particular component than the whole blood which is not required by the patient.
● So usually in blood banks when blood is collected from the donor its components are separated immediately.
