Hii There!!!

( Plz refer to image 1 )

⭕✔️In PH3 due to presence of 1 lone pair electrons, the repulsion of lone pair and bond pair will take place and due to that angle between bonds will be reduced.

(Plz refer to image 2 )

⭕✔️ In PH4 there is SP3 hybridization. So, angle will be 109°28" each. As a result, there will be no repulsion between bond pairs.

Hence, bond angle of PH4 is always greater than PH3.
