connective tissues are those which binds various tissues and organs in the body and provide them rigidi support and protection the bones and cartilage from the supporting framework of the body blood as fluid connective tissues the transfer nutrients oxygen vitamins and hormones extra to the cell and remove nitrogenous waste CO2 and other products from the cell there for blood bone and cartilage are referred to as connective tissue.
