Bryophytes Cannot grow large like Trees because they have no developed Vascular System.

The lack of lignin in bryphotes limits their height because without lignin, cell walls sre not hardened, so a tall plant body cannot be supported.

Bryophytes can survive on rocks and bare soil.

Hey mate.....

Here is ur answer....

Bryophyte come under the group's cryptograms..

as in bryophyte there is no differentiation of plants in root ,stem and leaves

and its avascular...I.e there is absence of tissues like xylem and phloem.....

so conductance of water and food is absent..

Thus bryophyte does not grow like other trees....
