Why burning candle put out when we cover it with a glass jar?

it puts off because it doesn't get oxygen to burn and we know that it doesn't burn itself but helps tlo burn other.so if there is no oxygen then how it burns???.

A burning candle is put out when covered with a glass jar because -
Burning can only take place in presence of oxygen but when we put a glass jar on the burning candle, the oxygen it was getting from the atmosphere is cut out. Once the oxygen inside the jar is used up it stops burning.
