Answer: Burning of coal and petroleum leads to air pollution because when they are burnt, some gases like Carbon Dioxide, etc. are released which have a bad odour. Also, this process leads to Global Warming because the gases produced may increase the level of harmful gases in the air which makes the ice on the glaciers melt.
