Why c-c bond length is greater than c-o bond length in carbon suboxide?

As oxygen is more electronegative than carbon in C-O bond, oxygen will attract the shared pair of electrons towards itself . Whereas in C-C bond the electrons shared between the atoms have same electronegativity
