Hey find

We all know that the reaction of calcium with water is led Violent. So d heat released is not sufficient for hydrogen to catch fire. Bubbles of hydrogen are formed which sticks to d metal surface and hence calcium floats on water.

Hope this helps u frnd

Trisha14M: So due to less presence of heat .. Its float on its surface ???
VAC: I think so
