A sealed syringe filled with water cannot be sqeezed because water is not highly compressible, hence in the absence of an opening to let the water out, the water, which acquires volumes and has a huge density (1 kg/m^3) exerts high pressure (equal to the force exerted while pushing the piston) and neutralises the force, hence not letting the piston to move further.
