Why can graphite conduct electricity but diamonds cannot?

as both are the isotopes of carbon

..

but the graphite have delocalised(free) electrons in its structure.bcz each carbon atom bounded with other 3 carbon atom.

but in case of diamonds all4 carbon atom are used in making of covalent bonding

that's why graphite can conduct electricity....
