Because concave ,convex or plane mirror shows reflection, for reflection only one medium is required.lenses shows refraction because they have ability to pass the light fall on it while mirror reflect the Ray back in the same medium.

hope it's help u

Answer:

The mirrors are plated with silver on one side. Also, they're polished skilfully so that negligible refraction takes place. Thus, they're only made for reflection.

The lenses on the other hand, are not plated. Instead, they're transparent, mostly, the surfaces which are found to encourage refraction are transparent. Therefore, the reason.
