Why can't dna synthesis proceed in both directions?

hey buddy !! here's your answer....

✔️the dna chains are arranged in antiparallel fashion . the synthesis of dna takes place from 3' to 5' direction of template strand . hence , one strand formed is continuous while other is discontinuous .
