Here in the poem ‘The Idiot Box’ the poet Arvind Gigoo is saying that the Television can't play football or shape of snowman because it is a machine and it does not have legs and arms.
Most importantly it is neither a living being nor it can move. In the entire poem, the poet personifies the television.
