Why can't microprocessor 8085 work at frequencies greater than 3 mhz?

8085 microprocessor has a maximum clock frequency of 3 MHz because there are 2 crystal oscillators of 1.5 MHz each. Basically it has a frequency of 3 MHz but in order to get this frequency the crystal should have 6 MHz internal frequency due to RL and RC crystals. So the 8085 microprocessor cannot work at frequencies greater than 3 MHz.
