why can't we use copperwire for maling an electrical fuse

A copper wire cannot be used as a fuse wirebecause it has a high melting point. It will not melt easily when a high electric current passes through it and may damage the electrical appliances.

lucifier2: Because the copper wire has low melting point and low resistivity and when a high voltage current paas through it it may get damage or the wire will melt

We cannot use copper wire for mealing a fuse because it it has a low melting point and melts easily at low temperature
