Why can't we use Dil hcl and Dil hno3 in place of Dil h2so4

I think u should check your question once because Dil hcl acid reacts with zinc in place of dil.sul.acid in the laboratory preparation of hydrogen
And coming to the second part nitric acid even in it's dilute form is not used because it forms it's respective oxides and thus, defeting the purpose of the reaction
