It's best to use a digital thermometer under your baby's arm to take her temperature. Using a digital thermometer will quickly give you an accurate reading, and help you decide whether you need to call the doctor.
Other types of thermometer can be hard to use on a wriggly baby or won't give you a spot-on reading.

because thermometer has toxic chemicals in it
if the baby will bite it it will go in to his mouth
