Only one side of moon is visible from Earth because the moon rotates on its axis at the same rate that the moon orbits the Earth,a situation known as synchronous rotation or tidal locking. The moon is directly illuminated by sun, and the cyclically varying viewing conditions cause the lunar phases.

Hey....
Here is your Answer
We can only see one side of the moon becoz of reflection...and of our eyes sites. For example there is a coloured bottle ....when we will see at bottle so only one side of bottle will be seen becoz
⭕Bottle is of round shape and it is not flat as like moon. Moon is also round and not flat.
⭕Our eyes site will only get reflection of that side where ligth is available or seen....without ligth it can not be reflect. Same condition is in moon when we see at moon so we can only see the part where the ligth of sun is coming and our eyes are getting reflect.
⭕Bottle is solid so it will avoid ligth of one side to go another side. Same case in moon. Moon will also avoid ligth to go pass through it.
