why can x-ray telescope not be based on the earth???

X-rays are absorbed in air. The thickness of our atmosphere is enough to block virtually all x-rays from space from reaching the surface, so any X-ray telescope on Earth would be blind.m

X- Ray cannot reach up to surfaces of the earth due to certain constraint like atmospheric, temperature, air pressure, cloud cover, etc. hence, X-Ray telescopes cannot be based on earth.
