This  is  possible  because  the  particles  of  perfume  move  from  the  areas  of  higher  concentration  to  the  areas  of  lower  concentration.  This  process  is  called  diffusion.  This  also  suggests  that  particles  of  matter  are  continuously  in  motion.

So,  in  general,  we  can  say  that,  we  can  get  the  smell  of  perfume  from  distance  because  of  the  process  known  as  diffusion.

We smell perfume from a distance because they evaporate, which means to change from a liquid to a gas. These scented gas molecules move through the air and we smell them when they enter your nose. The more scent molecules that enters your nose, the stronger is the smell
