Fertilisation means the fusion of two gametes while pollination means the tranfer of pollen grain from the anther of thd flower to the stigma of the same flower or the other of the same kind. Therefore after pollination fertilisation occurs so how can fertilisation occur without pollination .

Answer:

If pollination does not occur then fertilization cannot take place because male gametes will not be available. For fertilization both male and female gametes must be present.
