Why cant animals make food from carbondioxide,water and sunlight,like plants do?

The reason behind this is very simple:-
=>Plants take direct nutrition from soil and we and animals take it from food.
(Nutrition is important for energy requirements and growth requirements of body that's why we take nutrition as energy supplement
that break down according to our needs through oxidation)
=> Humans and animals does not have some parts that are required to make energy from sunlight like chloroplast , chlorophyll etc.
=> Plants have direct mode of nutrition , it takes things directly from the nature and prepares what the plant needs accordingly , but human I unable to do so take it from other things present in the surroundings.
