3). Sometimes, to protect our eyes it needs to be closed

4). Millions of small particles, hit our eye membrane and as it is delicate it needs to be closed

Hello yaar,

We can't open our eyes for long. This is because our eyes get stressed a lot when we keep it open for a long time. Each and every organism and every body part needs to relax including our eyes. They had been working since morning. Eyes work continuously from morning till we take rest and have a sleep. This might be damaging to the eye. It also needs rest. Also our eye membrane may be damaged due to this.

so it is advised not to open eyes for a long time.
