since carbon covalent compounds contain only a few atoms and the forces between molecules are weak , most covalent compounds have low melting points. However , some, like carbon compounds ,can be vary large . An example is the diamond in which carbon atoms each share four electrons to form giant lattices.

carbon compounds have low melting and melting boiling points because it is a covalent bond which have strong bond with their atoms or molecules ,having small intermolecular force .example -diamond,graphite,.etc
