The bond that is formed by the sharing of atoms is known as covalent bond

CARBON MAKES COVALENT BOND BECAUSE IT HAS 4 as it's valency , carbon can't lose electron because of energy considerations , carbon also can't gain too much electrons ( i.e 4)

SO IT SHARES THE ELECTRONS!!!
