Why carbon monoxide gas is more dangerous than carbon dioxide gas?

Carbon monoxide reacts with hemoglobin in our blood and produces a compound that prevents oxygen circulation in our blood. Whereas CO2 has no such property. Because carbon monoxide form a bond with hemoglobin in the blood, that is fatal.
