Cells are so small because they need to be able to get the nutrients in and the waste out quickly.

Heyaa folk,

Cells : The smallest functional unit in our body is called as cell. Usually, they are made up of nucleolus, membrane, mitochondria, etc.

Why the cells are very small ?

Generally, we see that the cells are of microscopic size. Hence, they're very small and of minimum size.

However, they need to help to carry out many body functions and also need to consist nutrients in themselves. And they need to expell the wastes also.

Hence, the cells are usually small.

Hope it helps u :)
