Cellular organization of body is the defining feature of life forms because all living organisms are made up of cells.
Cells perform all the functions in organisms. Non-living organisms do not have a cellular organisation.

Therefore, it can be seen that a cellular organisation gives rise to the functions of life like metabolism, growth, etc.

hope this may help

The statement says cellular organisation of the body is defining feature of life forms. This is because all living organisms are made of minimum one and maximum many cells. Simpler organisms which has single cell as their body are called as unicellular organism.

Hope it helps... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
