Heyaa folk,

The question you asked is really very interesting and yes we should think that why is it so ????

So here's the reason!

We all study + and - symbol in maths and so they are also used in physics for denoting charges because study 1 term is easy and a good explanation can be given on that base but using a and b would make it even more confusing and complicated and so + and - symbols are used to make the it easy and simple.

Hope this helps u.....

zack34: am not satisfied fully with your answer becase im maths we use + & -for addition and subtraction. we also read / & * then we can also use this both sign for denoting the charge.
no2: Actually the charge and math symbol work same
no2: i mean nearly same so we use them they are also the basic symbols
zack34: i got it charge is two type positive and negative in positive case it will increase and in negative it will decrease and we use +for positive and - for negative
zack34: thanks man for giving me your answer on it.. thankuuu
no2: ya u r right
no2: im not mam im a student :)
zack34: ohhh am sorry .... actually am not confirm wid ur name thats why i said u man..
