one day, kunnanpilla chattampi saw an old sanyaasi when he went for a feast.
He felt that the sanyaasi had some extraordinary powers and glory and he thought that that sanyaasi was the apt person to be as his guru. he started following him. knowing that kunnan pilla chattampi is following him, the old sanyaasi led him into a forest.
But,chattampi followed him, having a heart desire to meet that sanyaasi. at the time the sanyaasi entered the middle of the forest,he began to ran. chattampi also ran behind him. after a few minutes, chattampi felt tired and fell down unconsciously. At that time, the sanyaasi stop running and went near him.
He was able to bring kunnan chattampi from unconscious state by his blessed hands.then the sanyaasi said that he can't be able to be his guru , but he told to chattampi baalasubrahmanyamanthram therefore known as shanmukhadaasan and also baalahwan.
