Why child labour which was banned by the government is still practicing in many parts.of India

Child Labour was banned by THE GOVERNMENT because many children worked in hazardous situations. They were paid very less and no safety was given to them. Children worked because some parents used to force them to do so. Others were orphans and nobody took care of them. The main reason is because, they cannot concentrate on their education though they have very unique talents and know many languages. Because of this India loses many talented children because they are forced to earn wages. This hinders India's development

India's biggest hub of child labour is Uttar Pradesh and it accounts for almost 20% of India's child labourers. According to a Campaign Against Child Labour (CAC) study, India has 1,26,66,377 child labourers of which UP has 19,27,997 child labourers.
