Children absorb more MWR than adults because their brain tissues are more absorbent, their skulls are thinner and their relative size is smaller. MWR from wireless devices has been declared a possible human carcinogen. Children are at greater risk than adults when exposed to any carcinogen.

  • Microwaves are electromagnetic radiations with wavelengths between (10-³) and (10-1).
  • Micowaves cause water and fat molecules to vibrate so they are helpful in microwave cooking ovens.
  • They are used in mobile phones and WIFI.
  • They find place in radars also which is essential in ships, aircraft and weather forecasters to send signals
