actually childrens day is the birthday of our first prime minister jawaharlal nehru. he is fond of children and loves them. he was called as chacha by the children. on his birthday as he love children we celebrate it as childrens day....

14 november is observed as our first prime minister jawaharlal nehru birthday who was really attatched to children and enjoyed their company. Children called him as"chacha''.That's why in the memory of him, his birthday is celebrared as childrens day
