Chlorine ( 2,8,7 ). Flourine ( 2,7 ). Chlorine and fluorine are both halogens. Fluorine atomic mass is 18.99 whereas Chlorine has 35.45 atomic mass. By this chlorine have more atomic mass than fluorine. Fluorine is most reactive metal in non metals.

It's all about there sizes.
As u see in flourine it has small size because of p-orbital and cl has d-orbital in its shell.
So, u all know p orbital can take up 6 electron
Where d orbital can take up to 10 that's the reason flourine is less electro gain enthalpy than cl
