now let me tell you....
In past people use to store food in cloths but it was unhygienic so people discovered metals and make utensils to store food and they found it so useful.
one more reason-
we use some utensils to cook food because made of metal but if we make utensil out of clothes they will burn and we will not be able to prepare food.
so basically these are reasons.

Clothes cannot be used to make utensils because metal should be used to make utensils and clothes are not any metal.
