why complete combustion take place in non luminous zone??

It is becoz non luminous zone has un burnt carbon particles. Hope so this is the answer.

Complete combustion takes place in non-luminous zone of the flame because this area is the hottest part of the flame and there is much pressure of oxygen which helps in combustion.Mainly oxygen is the reason for combustion as it is a conductor of making fire.
