why copper and brass vessels are cleaned with lemon?? ​

Answer:

Because they reacts with oxygen present in air and forms a layer of copper and brass oxides. which looks bad in appearance. Lemon juice is acidic and hence it neutralises that oxides and removes them and makes the vessel shiny again.
