stainless steel is used in making tanks rather than steel as the latter is prone to corrosion. copper is a good cundoctor and it resistance the corrosion.so it is an ideal choice for tanks...I think it helps u...

Because Copper(Cu) is a good conductor of heat and electricity.
Also, it does not react with any form of water.
