Why coromandel coast get most of its rain during the winter season?

It is bcuz the coromondel coast receives rain from the north east monsoon in which winds blow from land to sea..It receives rain from the bay of Bengal. .It doesnt receive rain from the South west monsoon bcus by the time the winds the eastern side of the western ghats..They dry up..hope it helps...
