1) The moist climate of area helped in the growth of cotton so raw cotton was readily available in area

2) There are ports nearby so the manufactured goods could be easily transported.

3) There are enough labour force in the area. There are Farmers, cotton ball pluckers and workers who does the work of spinning ,weaving ,dyeing, tailoring & sewing.


4) It was easy to access the market for finished goods from here.

5) Other supporting industries involved manufacturing dyes & packing materials are available in those areas.
