The writer could not meet the pilot of the black plane because there was no such plane and pilot, it was the writer's imagination only.
- There are two stories included in the main story " Two stories about flying."
- The first part of this story highlight a seagull who is very scared of flying, and how he overcomes his fear.
- In the second part the story goes through a pilot and the situation he faced while flying from Paris to London.
- As soon as his flight crossed Paris, he felt that a storm is coming.
- But he did not land in Paris back, he continued his journey.
- He lost his communication, navigation, and control as soon as he reached or entered the storm.
- At that moment another airplane came there, and the pilot in that plane helped him to get through the dark storm.
- When they land in London, the writer was eagerly waiting to meet that pilot and say thanks for saving.
- But, when the writer enquired about the other plane he got the shocking reply that there was no such plane in the sky at that time.
- So he realized it was all his imagination.
