The coronavirus outbreak has been labelled a pandemic by the World Health Organization (WHO). It is a term that the organisation had refrained from using before now. WHO chief Dr Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said it was now using the term because of deep concern over "alarming levels of inaction" over the virus.

A pandemic is defined as “an epidemic occurring worldwide, or over a very wide area, crossing international boundaries and usually affecting a large number of people”. The classical definition includes nothing about population immunity, virology or disease severity.

And hence, Covid-19 has spread all over the world... That's the reason Covid-19 is known as pandemic....
